Put your taste buds to the test at the Hot Jalapeño Showdown this National Jalapeño Day at Food City Ranchland! In partnership with Price’s Dairy, we’re turning up the spice with a fiery jalapeño eating contest where brave contestants will battle the burn for $100 cash and Price’s Milk for a Year!
With just 2 minutes on the clock, it’s you, a pile of jalapeños, and a pint of Price’s Milk standing by to cool the flames. Do you have what it takes to be crowned the Hot Jalapeño Showdown Champion?

Prizes
The contestant will win $100 cash and Price’s Milk for a Year (one Gallon of Milk each week for 52 weeks).
Rules
Contestants must be at least 18 years old.
Each contestant will receive a pile of whole jalapeño peppers (with stems) and 2 minutes to eat as many as possible.
The contestant who consumes the most peppers in the allotted amount of time wins.
Once the allotted 2-minute time period is up, the stems remaining on the plate will be used as verification that the jalapeño was consumed.
The winning contestant will be decided by how many remaining stems the contestant has.
Food City has sole discretion to determine if a pepper has been fully consumed.
Food City will provide each contestant with a pint of Price’s Milk and 1 Food City Flour Tortilla that can be kept on the table. Contestants will not be allowed any other foods or beverages during the contest.
Contestants will not be allowed to have napkins or any other objects near them during the competition.
Contestants will be disqualified should they prove unable to keep peppers down.
Contestants cannot coat the inside of their mouth with any kind of protective coating. Contestants caught doing so will be disqualified.
