How It Works:

1. Download the App
Get the free Open Rewards app on the Apple App Store or Google Play.

2. Shop Local
Visit Food City and other participating El Paso businesses listed in the app.

3. Earn Points
Earn points automatically when you link your credit or debit card—or upload a photo of your receipt after each purchase.

4. Redeem Rewards
Once you’ve earned $50 or more in rewards, cash out via PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle. You can also apply your rewards to purchases at other participating businesses!

Ready to put those rewards to good use? Here's how:
- Pay in full at any participating business.
- On your Open Rewards home screen, tap “Claim/Redeem.”
- Enter the amount and upload your receipt (or select a linked transaction).
- Once approved, you'll receive your payout via your selected method.
💡 You can redeem rewards at any participating business in your local community—not just the one where you earned them!
To ensure your rewards are approved, make sure your receipt:
- Includes the business name and address
- Shows the purchase date and full amount
- Lists your payment method
- Is legible and uncropped
🛑 No handwritten totals or cut-off receipts will be accepted.
✅ You may be asked to provide additional info for fraud prevention.
Yes—rewards expire after 3 months, so don’t wait too long to redeem them! You can always check your expiration dates in the Open Rewards app under the “expiry” section.
